(EP) Ethiopia government shut down two Tegaru TV stations for spreading hatred and inciting conflict among Ethiopians.

Dimitsi Weyane and Tigray Mass Media Agency (logos pictured) have lost the licence to air any programme.

The two TV Channels were beaming hostile programmes from their base in Mekelle, Tigray via a French satellite company.

The Tigrayan TV stations were given several warning from Ethiopia’s government before Addis Ababa patience ran out.

Other two Tegaru TV networks have been given a final warning.
